Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• PA registration with PA Board of Pharmacy preferred; trainee status allowed upon hire and must be board registered within 180 days.
• NJ registration with NJ Board of Pharmacy preferred; must be registered within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Fills medications and IV orders from computer generated labels; exchanges cassette drawers.
• Delivers medications to nursing floors and patient care areas or via pneumatic tube where appropriate.
• Performs routine inventory tasks, reviews narcotics, and maintains CD module documentation.
• Performs Transitional Care Unit (TCU) activities, prepares parenteral/antibody orders and compounding under supervision.
