Cardinal Health manages the pharmacy at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock in Round Rock, TX. We are hiring a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to work Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

The Technician II supports the Pharmacist in daily operations, including prescription preparation, inventory, and processing returns, while ensuring compliance with regulations and company guidelines. The role involves customer contact to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
Texas State Pharmacy Technician license is required.
IV certification is highly preferred or can be obtained prior to hire.
PTCB certification is highly preferred or can be obtained.
Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy is highly preferred.
Pyxis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Inputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system.
Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items.
Communicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
Maintains knowledge of and abides by all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
