Qualifications

• Entry-level pharmacy degree (e.g., B.Sc, Pharm.D) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred: one (1) or more years of experience in a hospital or health system.
• Pharmacist licensure in SC or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the provision of high quality pharmaceutical care to MUSC patients per standards.
• Involve with drug distribution functions, order entry and verification, IV admixture prep, etc.
• Educate pharmacist colleagues and other health care professionals to maintain clinical competency.
• Provide supervisory oversight of technicians to ensure safe and expedient pharmaceutical care.
