Qualifications

• Entry-level pharmacy degree (e.g., B.Sc, Pharm.D) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacist licensure in SC or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.
• Preferred: one (1) or more years of experience in a hospital or health system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day provision of pharmaceutical care to MUSC patients in compliance with laws and standards.
• Engage in drug distribution functions, order entry review, IV admixture preparation and related activities.
• Provide educational activities to maintain and advance clinical competency among pharmacists and healthcare staff.
• Oversee technicians and ensure safe and expedient pharmaceutical care delivery.
