Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Outpatient Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Registered Pharmacy Tech to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, input and verify prescriptions, and stock supplies.

Must have a high school degree and be registered with the SCBOP; 1 year of experience preferred. Schedule includes 8 hours weekly. We are a leading regional acute care facility serving northeastern South Carolina.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists a registered pharmacist with dispensing medications and supporting activities.
• Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information.
