MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, SC seeks a part-time Staff Pharmacist to join our hospital-based pharmacy team. Primary days with potential for shift, weekend, and holidays; 32 hours weekly.

You will coordinate daily pharmaceutical care, participate in drug distribution and IV admixture, and support the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.

Formación

• Entry-level pharmacy degree (BSc or PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred: one year or more of experience in a hospital or health system.
• Pharmacist licensure in SC or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Involve in drug distribution functions including order entry and IV admixture preparation.
• Support clinical activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes under Pharmacy and Therapeutics directives.
• Educate pharmacist colleagues and other health care professionals to maintain clinical competency.
• Provide professional oversight of technicians’ drug preparation and distribution activities to ensure safe and expedient care.
