Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in Utah is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to help patients check in at Intermountain Sevier Valley Hospital. You’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable contact, collecting information accurately and guiding patients with empathy in a fast-paced registration environment.

You will need basic computer skills, the ability to multi-task, and a willingness to learn. No healthcare experience required, but vaccination, drug test, and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting accurate information and entering it into multiple systems.
• Answer phones and assist patients with questions during check-in.
• Type quickly and accurately while coordinating with physicians and nurses.
• Work in a fast-paced hospital environment with compassion and patience.
• Learn through training and stay up to date on health information and privacy rules.
