Job summary

Unidine is hiring immediately for a part-time COOK position at University of Michigan Health West in Wyoming, MI. The role requires 2 years of cooking experience and includes a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

The successful candidate will prepare high-quality meals, follow recipes and safety standards, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen. Previous cash handling and ServSafe certification are preferred but not required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of cooking experience required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Ensures food is served at correct temperatures and presented attractively.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas; follows safe food-handling procedures.
• Assist in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance needs or faulty equipment to supervisor.
• Adheres to HACCP standards and company policies.
