Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in Lansing, MI is hiring Part-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the 2nd Shift at UMH Sparrow. The schedule is 3:00pm–11:30pm with a $2.05/hour shift differential and includes every other weekend and holiday.

Daily responsibilities cover cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, lobbies, and other areas on a healthcare campus, with an emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and complete post-offer medical screening and

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and other areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.
