Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 3rd Shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. The role includes a shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am with a $3.35 shift differential and includes every other weekend/holiday.

Mandatory vaccination and post-offer medical screening are part of the employment process. Candidates will join a team responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient areas with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
• Medical cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
