• Perform diversified duties in the diet office and write menu requisitions for special diets.
• Consult with inpatients concerning diets and instruct as needed; refer unusual diets to the Dietitian.
• Assist on patient floors during meals and monitor intake and accuracy of dietary orders.
• Enter required information in the patient kardex and keep kardex current.
• Prepare worksheets for cooks and supervise the tray line ensuring food quality, temperature and portions; adhere to menus.
• Maintain department policies, records and participate in meetings.
