Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes menus with patient considering allergies, culture, and nutrition plan.
• Delivers meals per diet order and departments standards.
• Sets up and feeds patients as needed.
• Documents clinically using computerized system or Kardex.
• Provides nutrition counseling and educates patients on dietary options.
• Retrieves food carts and delivers to patient floors.
• Carries trays and ensures timely meal delivery.
• Addresses patient requests with kitchen/dietitian cooperation.
• Maintains unit kitchen safety and stocks as needed.
• Records daily temperatures of fridges/freezers.
• Checks trays and assists in tray production.
• Gathers QA data to meet department standards.
• Maintains clean and safe environment to support patient satisfaction.
