Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Hospital Protection Patrol in Cleveland, OH. The role emphasizes reliable, fixed hours with opportunities to pick up extra shifts via a scheduling platform.

You will support front-line healthcare campus security, help manage access, and respond to incidents with professionalism. This position requires meeting basic qualifications, including a high school diploma and vaccination requirements, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to site access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security‑related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
