Job summary

Samaritan is seeking a compassionate Hospice Nurse in New Jersey to oversee the quality and expert care of assigned hospice patients. This role offers hourly pay with experience-based range and requires RN licensure and willingness to work in home-based settings.

You will perform patient assessments, establish plans of care, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and the IDT to ensure timely, dignified symptom management.

Qualifications

• RN license is required; BSN preferred.
• CHPN or OCN preferred; BLS training expected.
• Hospice/home care experience preferred.
• NJ driver’s license and insurance coverage required.

What You’ll Bring To Our Team

• Minimum of one year nursing experience - medical/surgical, oncology, geriatric or related experience, hospice/home care experience preferred
• N. required; BSN Degree preferred
• CHPN or OCN preferred, BLS training
• NJ driver’s license and insurance coverage required
• Bilingual is a plus!
