Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking a compassionate part-time Hospice Physician to support our Arizona Tucson Hospice team. You will join an interdisciplinary group, provide medical guidance, and help patients stay in their homes with dignity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Arizona.
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration and prescribing authority.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary hospice team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a physician resource to hospice patients and families.
• Participate in every-other-week interdisciplinary group meetings and care plan updates.
• Complete CTIs and document terminal illness eligibility per hospice requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate terminal illness care, including pain and symptom management.
• Review medications and services for medical appropriateness and alignment with goals.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and hospice clinicians on clinical and end-of-life care.
• Provide hospice consultations and patient visits upon request.
• Participate in family meetings and provide compassionate communication.
