Crossbridge Hospice in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Part Time Chaplain to provide spiritual and bereavement counseling to patients and their families. The role works within the hospice interdisciplinary team to address spiritual journeys and to support individualized care plans.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field, licensure or steady credentialing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication; ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide spiritual and bereavement counseling to hospice patients and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings and maintain open communication with all team members.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Facilitate connections to community spiritual resources when appropriate.
• Preside over funerals or memorial services at family request.
• Support Age‑Friendly Care using the 4Ms in spiritual care approaches.
