Job summary

Stillwater Hospice in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Part Time Certified Hospice Aide to join our growing team. You will work under a registered nurse and provide compassionate personal care to patients in their homes, promoting comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, bathing, mobility, feeding, and observation, while reporting changes to the Case Manager. Eligibility includes meeting state training requirements and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Must meet state training requirements.
• At least 18 years old.
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
• Sixteen hours of classroom must be completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks after assigned, attend to patient needs promptly.
• Provide patient and family with positive communication and confidentiality.
• Ensure safety with equipment and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with baths, grooming, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Assist in dressing, feeding, and nutritional planning as assigned.
• Observe and report patient condition to the Case Manager.
