Job summary

Stillwater Hospice, LLC in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Part-Time Certified Hospice Aide to join our growing team. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide compassionate personal care and support for patients and families in their homes.

The role requires completion of required state training, 18+ years of age, and strong communication and empathy. Training and ongoing support are provided within a close-knit care team.

Qualifications

• Must meet state training requirements for hospice aides.
• Minimum of 75 hours classroom and supervised training with 16 hours classroom prior to 16 hours practical training.
• Age 18 or older and able to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide patient and family with compassionate communication and confidentiality.
• Observe and report patient condition and changes to the Case Manager.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and use of safety equipment.
