Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacist to review charts and lab results for patients receiving complex infusion therapy. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position is part-time with flexible hours, Mon-Fri 8:00am–5:30pm CST. Candidates should hold a B.S. or PharmD and an active Kansas license; hospital/home infusion experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Kansas required.
• Hospital and home infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infusion therapies.
• CPR+ software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient evaluation and chart review for acceptance, product and device selection, and supply management.
• Review physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, safety and completeness.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with the physician and care team.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in compounding, packaging and labeling of sterile products.
• Assist in training new employees and performance improvement activities.
• May require multi-state licensure; other duties as assigned.
