Job summary

The PromptCare Companies are seeking a highly skilled Home Infusion Pharmacist in Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on reviewing charts and lab results for patients on specialized infusion therapy, collaborating with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality care.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm CST. The position requires KS licensure and a strong background in infusion therapies, with opportunities to train staff and participate in program development.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Doctor of Pharmacy degree required, or registered pharmacist license for foreign graduates.
• Active Kansas pharmacist license and ability to obtain licenses in required states without restrictions.
• 1 year hospital and home infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Two years of recent clinical pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts, orders, and labs for infusion therapy appropriateness and safety.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in compounding and packaging of sterile products.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing calculations and therapeutic recommendations.
• Work in multi-state service areas if licensure requires expansion.
• Mix medications in IV room as needed.
