BrightStar Care in Laredo, TX is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for part-time and PRN home health roles. You will perform skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes, conduct assessments, administer medications, and educate families to promote health and safety.

Flexible scheduling is offered, with opportunities to grow clinically within a patient-centered team. Responsibilities include wound care, IV/PICC support, and timely documentation, while maintaining compliance with agency

Qualifications

• Current TX RN license required.
• Desire to provide home health service to pediatrics and adults.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to patient needs.
• Current CPR and TB test / Chest X-Ray

Responsabilités

• Perform skilled nursing visits in patients' homes according to physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide skilled nursing treatments including wound care and injections.
• Manage patients with chronic illnesses and post-surgical needs.
• Perform medication reconciliation and educate patients on proper medication management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and safety.
• Perform wound assessments and provide wound care treatments, including Wound VAC when ordered.
• Assist with IV therapy, PICC line care, and catheter care as trained.
• Communicate with physicians and care team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and update Plan of Care.
• Report significant changes to physician and leadership.
• Maintain compliance with policies and home health regulations.
