Job summary

BrightStar Care of Denton is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to care for patients and facilitate recovery across home health and facility settings.

You will educate patients and families on prevention and healthy habits, perform routine nursing duties, and collaborate with a compassionate team to provide outstanding care with minimal supervision. A Texas RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a registered nurse in Texas.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Proficiency in IV and Central Line care (PICC/PORT).
• CPR certification and TB test or chest X-ray.
• 1+ year of home health/clinic or health facility experience preferred; 3–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient condition and needs to provide best care and advice.
• Perform routine procedures and document patient charts.
• Administer medications per physician orders and provide treatments.
• Provide emergency medical care when needed.
• Counsel patients and families and update them regularly.
