Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Elizabethtown, KY team in a part-time capacity. The PTA will deliver 1:1 patient care in home settings, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and participate in plan-of-care discussions.

Responsibilities include documentation, equipment coordination, and collaborating to support patient goals.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and incorporates its use into rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation as required.
