BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to perform in-home visits for adult and geriatric patients in Dartmouth, Westport, Fall River and surrounding towns. Prior home health experience is not required, and the role emphasizes compassionate, client-centered rehabilitation in the home.

The OT will evaluate function, plan individualized interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safe, independent living.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Massachusetts OT license.
• Minimum of one year of OT experience.
• Home health experience not required.

Responsabilités

• Visit clients at home in Dartmouth, Westport, Fall River area.
• Evaluate functional status, endurance, ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess cognition, psychology and motor function; develop interventions.
• Assess home hazards and recommend environmental adaptations.
• Identify equipment needs and revise care plans with nursing.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation activities.
• Document observations and interventions on a touch pad tablet.
