Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide day visits in the Danbury area, delivering OT services under physician-approved plans in patients' homes. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy while ensuring safety and quality of care.

Eligibility includes an OT license, ACOTE-accredited schooling, NBCOT exam readiness, and CPR certification; one year of relevant OT experience is preferred, with mentoring options if less.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• AOT/ACOTE-accredited OT education.
• Eligible to take NBCOT certification exam.
• One year related OT experience or regional mentor approval if less.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under physician-approved care plans.
• Address problems identified in assessment within the plan of care.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN inactive in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
