Qualifications

• NAACLS qualifications for adjunct faculty required.
• Three years of relevant histotechnology experience preferred.
• Active certification as Histotechnician HT or Histotechnologist HTL (ASCP or equivalent).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe, instruct, and evaluate histotechnology students in clinical/lab settings weekly or bi-weekly.
• Provide timely feedback on technical and clinical skills and enforce program policies.
• Communicate with clinical site personnel to align on student performance.
• Submit all clinical evaluations to the Clinical Coordinator promptly.
• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to accreditation activities as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with policies.
