Job summary

West Suburban YMCA in Newton, MA is seeking a Part Time Professional to lead Bootcamp/HIIT-style group exercise classes at Wells Ave and Church Street locations. You will deliver high-energy, inclusive workouts that promote member wellness and build community.

The role requires valid CPR/First Aid/AED, national or YMCA certs, and the YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days. Prior group fitness teaching experience is preferred, and a free YMCA membership is included.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required.
• National group fitness certification (ACE/NETA/AFAA/NASM) or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise.
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, safe, and engaging group classes as directed.
