Job summary

Fall Mountain Regional School District invites applications for a High School Library Media Professional (Media Specialist) for the Fall Mountain Regional High School. This 20-hour position during the school year reports to the High School Principal and supervises the Library Assistant.

Employment terms are 189 half days or equivalent, with responsibilities to plan with teachers and support digital information literacy.

Qualifications

• Valid New Hampshire Media Generalist certification or proof of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum, instruction, technology resources and ICT.
• Promote literacy and use of information systems to enrich learning.
• Plan with teachers to integrate information skills within units of study.
• Manage the media center and provide technical services and instruction.
• Supervise library assistants and volunteers.
• Develop and justify the Library Media Center budget.
