Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West is seeking compassionate Caregivers and HHAs to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client in Pepper Pike, OH. This part-time role offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and reporting changes to the supervising RN.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of caregiving or direct care experience preferred
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide personal care, bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow the client's individualized plan of care

Education

High School Diploma or GED
