Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cuyahoga West in Medina, OH is seeking compassionate caregivers and HHAs to provide one-on-one care in a client’s home. This part-time role offers flexible shifts, RN oversight, and a supportive team environment.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and light housekeeping while delivering companionship and maintaining confidentiality. CPR-certification and basic training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Caregivers must be compassionate and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide personal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide personal care, bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Follow the client's individualized plan of care.
