Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to deliver high-quality in-home care across Westside and surrounding communities. The role offers flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, PRN, weekday, weekend, or 12-hour shifts to fit your life.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while providing companionship and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Must have completed HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities as needed.
• Observe changes in client condition and report to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.

Schedule Include:

• It Can be a PT, and PRN
• Different shifts are available (AM, PM, Night shift)
• Must able to work in the westside, eastside, and southwest part of cleveland.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols
