Job summary

HeliService USA is seeking a detail‑oriented helicopter Communication Specialist to join our Quonset operations in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. You will coordinate and monitor all helicopter flight operations, work with pilots and ground crews to ensure safe, efficient dispatching, and manage schedules while tracking weather conditions and aviation regulations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and capable of multitasking under pressure, with a solid understanding of aviation

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong communication with pilots, crew, customers, and internal teams.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays for a 24/7 operation.
• Must meet DOT requirements including background checks and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Effectively schedule daily flight operations to meet customer demands.
• Communicate directly with airborne aircraft to ensure task completion.
• Provide flight following and locating services to company helicopters.
• Interact with Customs and Border Patrol for passenger and cargo processing.
• Coordinate and schedule required customer training.
• Intake HEMS calls and coordinate patient transfers.
