Job summary

Twin Oaks Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support daily maintenance and physical plant operations in a healthcare environment. This role reports to the Director of Maintenance and involves preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and keeping a safe, clean, and functional space for residents and staff.

The position is three days per week with flexible scheduling to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in building maintenance or healthcare settings is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Maintenance with daily maintenance and physical plant operations.
• Perform routine repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, doors, locks, walls, ceilings, flooring, furniture, and other building components.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and document work performed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and resident/staff requests.
• Help ensure hallways, exits, stairways, and life-safety areas remain unobstructed and properly maintained.
• Assist with scheduled facility inspections and preventive maintenance audits.
