You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, coordinate projects with contractors, and help keep the facility safe, clean, and compliant while serving staff, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade education preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years facilities maintenance experience.
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with light construction, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Able to read technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment documentation is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
• Complete light construction, renovation, and remodeling projects as needed.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving electrical, plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate and oversee facility improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Work with outside contractors and vendors to schedule services, obtain estimates, monitor project progress, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with healthcare facility regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance including grounds maintenance, snow removal coordination, and other exterior upkeep as needed.
• Support department leadership with special projects and facility-related initiatives.
• Maintain a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff, patients, visitors, and vendors.
