Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a part-time Hospital Courier to support the Department of Laboratory Medicine. You will drive hospital vehicles on courier routes and handle on-demand pickups and deliveries.

Requires valid Ohio driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and ability to pass motor vehicle background checks. Strong communication and basic computer skills are needed to document routes and ensure patient-care quality.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as hospital policy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge.

Mansioni

• Maintains schedule to complete routine and on-demand routes daily.
• Handles pick-ups and deliveries from lab, pharmacy, homecare, referring hospitals, clinics, physician offices and outpatient centers.
• Documents all route information and pick-ups per department guidelines.
• Evaluates and monitors weather conditions to preplan for anticipated trips and delays.
• Maintains safety of cargo and vehicle and assists in training of new staff.
