The role requires a BS in healthcare or related field, 2 years of clinical or medical assisting experience, and preferred healthcare certifications. You will plan lessons, teach up to 27.5 hours weekly, assess students, and support SAP reporting and advising.

Qualifications

• BS degree in healthcare or related field.
• 2 years of clinical or medical assisting experience.
• Preferred healthcare industry certification in CEHRS, CBCS, CCA, BLS, CPT, CET, CCMA or RMA.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver in-class instruction with the approved curriculum.
• Teach up to 27.5 hours per week.
• Prepare lesson plans for each class session.
• Deliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL).
• Assist students in the learning process.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress using various assessments.
• Maintain records to report SAP to the Academic Dean.
• Attend instructor in-service meetings and participate in program improvement.
• Provide academic advising to support student growth and retention.
