Qualifications

• Master’s in health science, health education, biology, nursing, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, dietetics, nutrition or public health; OR Master’s in biology with the Bachelor’s in one of the above and Master’s in any biology science; OR valid California Community College credential; OR equivalent education/experience (requires equivalency).
• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded practice in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Teach community college health courses such as Hlth 1 and 2.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Fulfill all duties and responsibilities of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.

Education

Master’s in health science/health education/biology/nursing/PE/kinesiology/exercise science/dietetics/nutrition or public health

Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in any biology science

California Community College credential
