Job summary
Coreshell Technologies in San Leandro, CA is seeking a part-time Shipping & Logistics Specialist to manage day-to-day shipping for R&D and manufacturing, including dangerous goods. Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping, logistics, dangerous goods experience.
- Certification/training in hazmat shipping required (DOT/IATA 49 CFR 172.704 / DGR 1.5).
- Experience shipping batteries, chemicals, hazardous materials.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Own domestic and international shipments from planning to delivery.
- Prepare shipments in compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG rules.
- Prepare shipping docs and coordinate with couriers and brokers.
- Track shipments and troubleshoot delays.
- Manage shipping supplies and freight quotes.
- Receive materials and support inventory accuracy.
- Maintain records for shipping and compliance.
- Help establish scalable logistics processes.
- Provide hands-on support for facilities and EH&S as needed.
