Job summary

Roslindale is seeking an Experienced Physician Assistant to work under the supervision of a physician in our Hand Plastic Surgery department. The role includes taking medical histories, performing exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, treating, prescribing medications, and assisting in procedures.

The position is part-time and requires MA physician assistant licensure, graduation from an AMA-approved PA program, NCCPA certification, and related registrations. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program.
• Massachusetts PA license and DEA/CS registrations if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical history and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab tests and imaging studies.
• Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans; prescribe/dispense medications.
• Assist in surgery or other invasive procedures.
• Counsel patients and families; collaborate with staff and physicians.
