Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery seeks a physician assistant to practice with a respected plastic surgeon in ambulatory and OR settings. You will participate in postoperative care, consultations, and office-based procedures, with travel within the Central & Hartford Region.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and exposure to both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master’s program.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Plastic Surgery experience highly preferred.
• Surgical experience preferred.
• Experience as a PA highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory / outpatient postop and consultation appointments.
• Intraoperative first assist responsibilities for reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
• Inpatient rounding may be included on a limited basis.
• Travel within Central & Hartford Region.
