Job summary

Regional Hand Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team of upper extremity care specialists. The PA will work under surgeons to diagnose, treat and manage patients with hand and upper extremity conditions, ensuring high standards of care.

The role requires a Master's degree, CA PA licensure and NCCPA certification, plus at least 2 years in orthopedics/hand surgery. Strong communication and EMR skills are essential to coordinate care in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

Master's degree required.
Current CA Physician Assistant license.
NCCPA certification for PAs.
Minimum of 2 years in orthopedics/hand surgery or related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments including histories and physical exams.
Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre-/post-operative care.
Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
Perform procedures such as injections, wound care and suturing.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment options.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate patient records.
Coordinate patient flow within the clinic to ensure efficient service delivery.
