Job summary

Hallmark Cards in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to work with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory across assigned stores. You will restock and monitor Hallmark products, support seasonal resets and installations, and collaborate with store staff to ensure engaging displays.

The role requires 9–14 hours weekly with some weekend and holiday availability; starting pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, and paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You can read, write and understand English.
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Experience operating a handheld device to read documents.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products in assigned stores using a handheld device and communicate with your supervisor.
• Holiday support: extended hours around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Department resets: assist with installations and remodeling, relocate cards and fixtures, two weeks’ notice for assignments.
• One Team Vision: collaborate with other merchandisers across territories as needed.
