Job summary

Avamere is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator in Medford, OR for a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri 2pm-7pm) at Health Services of Rogue Valley. The role focuses on warm greetings, visitor coordination, admissions support, and delivering a welcoming environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• 1+ year clerical experience in healthcare setting.
• Active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist residents, families, and visitors.
• Ensure visitors sign in/out and coordinate room prep for new residents.
• Assist with admissions inquiries, paperwork, and explain billing procedures.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
• Introduce residents to caregivers and departments as needed.
• Conduct post-admission satisfaction surveys and address questions.
• Provide regular check-ins during initial weeks of stay to ensure satisfaction.
• Answer phones, manage resident call lists, and route calls accordingly.
• Provide information about facility services and make recommendations.
• Document and escalate feedback to ensure timely resolution.
• Schedule appointments with medical staff or other professionals.
• Report changes in resident condition to medical staff.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Keep reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Be prepared to handle emergencies and contact staff as needed.
