Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in La Quinta is seeking a Guest Service Professional to support daily guest service operations for the golf course, including tournament setup, equipment rental and player assistance. This part-time role reports to the Guest Service Supervisor or Head Golf Professional.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, effective communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends at a scenic, outdoor golf venue.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors about tasks.
• Desire to contribute to a productive work environment with a good attitude.
• Self-motivated, follows direction, independent work with little supervision.
• Demonstrates initiative and sound judgment for independent decisions.
• Maintains high work standards with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with continuous improvement.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate core values and mission to support company goals.
• Provide information on golf course conditions and events to staff.
• Maintain effective communication for a smooth guest services operation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest concerns.
• Help manage rental equipment, carts, storage and guest service supplies.
• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Greet players, load clubs on carts, direct to the first tee, prepare day’s setup.
• Assist post-game with dining, club cleaning and transport guidance.
