Job summary

Five O Fore in New Orleans is seeking Desk Agents to welcome guests, seat customers at tables, and maintain smooth dining room flow with friendly, attentive service. You’ll manage reservations, assist with side duties, and stay visible on the dining floor to help guests and staff.

Beginners are welcome; weekend and holiday availability is required. Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a basic knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read/speak English to perform duties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training completed.
• Familiarity with POS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests and escorts to their table.
• Seats guests in rotation and guards proper check procedures.
• Manages opening/closing side duties and stations setup.
• Supports service staff with bussing and order-taking as needed.
• Maintains reservations, notes special requests.
• Keeps knowledge of menu items, prices, and service procedures.
• Ensures appearance and cleanliness of service areas.
• Stays visible on dining floor and communicates guest requests.
• Follows safe work practices and maintains attendance.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
