Job summary

The Server at Canaan Valley Resort is responsible for taking orders and delivering food and beverages with friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced dining room. They will maintain an efficient, profitable and professional dining area while helping create repeat guests.

Shifts include AM and PM, and staff must stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and operate the POS system accurately. Benefits include PTO after 1 year, hotel room discounts and on property food/activity discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Able to read tickets and communicate with customers and staff.
• Good interpersonal verbal communication; sales skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with hospitality and build guest relations.
• Provide table service and accurate, friendly food and beverage service.
• Handle setup, side work, dining room and server aisle cleanup.
• Demonstrate professional attitude toward guests, peers and management.
