Job summary

Canaan Valley Resort State Park in Davis, WV is seeking a part-time Server to take orders and deliver food and beverages with friendly, efficient table service.

You will work AM or PM shifts, maintain a clean dining room, and help create repeat guests through hospitality and accurate service; prior serving experience is preferred and ability to read tickets and use a POS system is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to read tickets and communicate with customers, managers and other employees.
• Good interpersonal verbal communication skills; sales skills preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with hospitality and maintain guest relations during meals.
• Serve food and beverage with professional table service.
• Perform setup, side work, dining room and server aisle cleanup; work as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional attitude toward guests, peers and management.
