Job summary

Kimberton Whole Foods in Eagleview is seeking a part-time Grocery Team Member to join the new crew. Availability is part-time, approximately 24 hours per week, with one weekend shift required each week.

The position offers $15.00–$17.00 per hour and includes eligible benefits after probation. Primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, stocking dry goods and beverages, managing back stock, and assisting with inventory and signage under the Grocery Department Head.

Responsibilities

• Assist the front end by scanning groceries and completing transactions; bag groceries.

Kimberton Whole Foods in Eagleview is looking for a part-time Grocery Team Member to join the new crew!

Schedule:

• Monday 10-4:30
• Friday 10-4:30
• Saturday 2-8:30

Age Requirement:Must be 16 years or older

Hourly Pay:$15.00 - $17.00

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

The Grocery Team Member’s Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household and bulk items.
• Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands.
• Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis.
• Working in collaboration with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• Understands KWF inventory management practices.
• Assists the front end by scanning customers groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
