Job summary

Kimberton Whole Foods in Eagleview seeks a part-time Produce Stocker to join our crew. This role offers about 24 hours per week with one weekend shift required. Schedule includes Monday or Tuesday 12-8:30, Friday 12-8:30, and Saturday 7-3:30.

Hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00, plus benefits: 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with 3% matching after one year and 1000 hours worked. Duties include customer service, stocking, FIFO rotations, signage, SOP adherence, and inventory

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Part-time availability: approximately 24 hours per week.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Working with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate signage throughout the department.
• Follow the SOP for abundant, dynamic and fresh displays.
• Understand Kimberton Whole Foods inventory management practices.

Availability:

Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week. One weekend shift is required each week.

Schedule

• Monday or Tuesday 12-8:30
• Friday 12-8:30
• Saturday 7-3:30

Hourly Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00

Produce Stocker's Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Understands KWF inventory management practices.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
