Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the Jumpstart Graphic Communications program. You will teach courses at participating high schools and help prepare syllabi and course materials.

Responsibilities include delivering Graphic Communications content, developing course materials, and evaluating student mastery of skills aligned to course outcomes, under the Jumpstart program. Experience and a proactive approach to teaching are valued.

Qualifications

• Pre-approval by the Media Technologies Department – Graphic Communications and Early College Programs Office is required.
• Applicants not pre-approved will not be considered.
• Graphic design, advertising, web design/development experience – minimum 5 years.
• Experience using industry standard software.

Responsibilities

• Teach Graphic Communication courses with the CSN Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program at high schools.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
